There are a variety of hiking trails in the mountains which surround the Noordhoek Valley.

These vary from 1 to 4 hours in duration and provide superb views of the area. It is usually simple to obtain a local guide (usually at very little or no cost).

There are groups which go on regular weekly walks and visitors are welcome to join these groups. A walk to Noordhoek Peak provides sensational views of both the Noordhoek Valley and Hout Bay.
