The Argus/Pick
'n Pay Cycle Tour is an annual event held in March in Cape Town. This
is one of the largest organised cycle races in the world with 35 000
competitors. In 2004 the course once again included Chapman's Peak Drive
and passed through the centre of Noordhoek. The race was a huge success
and we look forward to 2005.
The Two
Oceans Marathon is held annually on the Saturday of the "Easter
Weekend". In 2004 this 56km ultramathon once again included Chapman's
Peak Drive and passed through the centre of Noordhoek.
The new
body to market tourism in the Western Cape Province of South Africa
recently unveiled its new name and logo and outlined its strategy. It
is known as Cape
Town Routes Unlimited.
On 3rd November 2004 Cape Town Tourism launched their new logo. |
